Default Custom Curved Hilt Saber, NB, Red P4, Crystal Chamber, Recharge Port

This is the second saber I've posted on the forum. The hilt is a Rainbow vacuum wand with a shroud of aluminum tubing. The grip material is called "whatagrip". The crystal chamber has a real quartz crystal. It's mostly finished. I'm still planning to weather the outer shroud with oil. The shroud is in two pieces and the front part slides off for access to the SD card. The speaker housing is a plastic garden hose cap, sanded to fit and drilled out. I took off the first two threads on the inside and the speaker snaps right in. It also makes a good resonance chamber.

Nice work. It's a cool design. I also like your chassis, don't think I've seen one before with the LED built in.

Very nice! It's good to see someone put a Rainbow vacuum wand to good use

    Thanks guys.

The rainbow wand was okay. It's a hair thicker than a 1 1/4" sink tube, both the interior and exterior diameters. The blade holder fit VERY snugly. The aluminum shroud (when split) slides easily over a sink tube, but I had to stretch it out a little for the rainbow wand. The thickness did make it a little easier to thread tap though.

Fantastic way to use your imagination! I'm a HUGE fan of people using recycled parts. I think it gives the saber a more original feel.
