The website I used had a bunch of fonts in one zip... but I think your name looks familiar. Do I owe you a possible donation? If you made some of these, I could use your help! I found a quote from C-3PO I want to use as my boot font, but can't get my Nano to recognize it...

I only know of one place that has a bunch of sound fonts all in one zip file...and they're all pirated. Go to Saberfont.com and you can pay for the fonts you want, and you'll be supporting the sound font creators.

Be sure your sound file is in the correct format. Must be 16 bit, 22050 hz, and .wav format. Do that, and be sure to reformat and recopy the entire sound font ALL AT ONCE to get the sound file to work. Just copying the new sound file over to the SD card will not work.

I certainly don't have an interest in retaining pirated material... I want a sound unique to my taste, but can't see spending $100 to get one or two sounds from many different established fonts to get there. I did as you suggested with both audacity and goldwave, formatting and copying everything, but all I get as I remove the kill key is one beep from the NB.

Due to the way the sound fonts for Plecter boards play sound, all of the "hum" sounds have to be premixed into the other sounds. Mixing and matching sounds from different fonts will give less-than-ideal results. There is another board that doesn't require premixing the hum, so mix and match is much more friendly with that board, but then you can't use the Plecter board fonts with it.

A single beep usually indicates that the board is having problems with the SD card. Check to be sure that all your sound files are present, named correctly, and in the proper location on the card. Be sure that you formatted the SD card using the "full format" method, and not the "quick format". Then select all the files you're going to transfer, hit ctrl-c, and then ctrl-v to paste them into the SD card. If those steps don't work, you might need to try a different SD card. Sometimes they just go bad.

Turns out, it was the default project settings in Audacity. Once I changed them to 22050, it exported properly. I also went and bought Nova Star's Ancient Saber font. Silver, you were dead on about mixing and matching. I didn't catch the hum being mixed in until I listened to that complete font. Thanks! The boot sound is C-3PO in ESB, at the end saying "I'm lying in pieces, and you're having delusions of grandeur!"

My fonts are hosted at niagon's site,and they ARE NOT PIRATED!!!there are 2 packages there ALL can have them for free if you'd like to donate ,you can ,,or not its up to you i don't require it ,i made them at the time when there were very few fonts for that card,just to give folks more choices.
ive only had 2 donations,BUT--one came from Spain and the other came from Sweden--THAT'S AWESOME--wouldn't you say?
