Thread: Trans White PolyC Thin Blade with Corbin Diffuser

Default Trans White PolyC Thin Blade with Corbin Diffuser

I know that with the normal Corbin film in a translucent blade and either the LED driver or the NB soundboard you get the illusion of the blade scrolling on powerup/powerdown, but do you get the same effect with just the empty trans white blades because they're diffusers by themselves? I really want that effect but don't want to take away from the blade brightness/evenness by filling an already-white tube with cellophane/Corbin rolls if it's not necessary.

You still get that same scrolling illusion with the trans white blades, though it's not quite as pronounced. The trans white blades are decent on their own, but the addition of clear cello wrap still improves them.

So it's not worth throwing in a Corbin roll, because I hear the blades are somewhat dimmer than the transparent tubes from the get-go and it would detract from that even more.

You can get the Corbin roll, or just pick up some clear giftwrap. Pop it in and see if you like it, and if not you can always remove it from the blade. Clear giftwrap is cheap.
