    Default 1st build... Am I getting warmer?

    Here's my very first parts list. I did accidentally get a lot of c clips without realizing it. But other than that... did I do okay?

    •2 of: Dual 22 gauge wire (sold by the foot)
    •1 of: Rebel Star LED & MHS Heatsink Module
    •1 of: 4AAA Battery Holder with JST connector
    •1 of: 6-32 Tap & drill set
    •1 of: MWS Guarded Style Latching Switches
    •10 of: 6-32 socket Head Cap Screw
    •1 of: MHS choke style 3
    •10 of: MPS Clip
    •1 of: Hilt style 4 with guarded style switch hole
    •1 of: MPS insert style 13
    •1 of: BuckPuck 1000mA 4-wire
    •1 of: MPS Pommel style 4
    •1 of: Screw on LED blade holder style 9
    •1 of: LED "TCSS style" Battle blade 1" OD (36 inches)

    Yep. That's a lot of MPS clips. A lot of 6-32 socket head screws as well. I don't see anything missing. What color Rebel LED are you going to get?

    Cyan. But I don't know if I'm going to stay with that. Cyan seems like a pale green. I really want my first saber to be a pale blue or a straight red. But we will see. I'll post pics when its done. Thanks for looking it over. The MPs parts were an accident courtesy of an overzealous kitten on my key pad.

    No problem, that's why we're here.

    I asked about the color to be sure you weren't trying to run a Rebel red with a 1000mA buckpuck. Cyan works great with them, so you're good. It's a really great color too, I think you'll like it. Rebel reds need the 700mA buckpuck.

    I can second that. The Rebel Cyans that Tim sells here are a really unique and vibrant color - i'd say closer to blue than green.
