Does anybody know off the top of their heads if the colored P4's have the same requirements as their Lux3 counterparts??
Like does the red need 1.4 mA??

All of the P4's are like regular LUX III's. The reds don't require or really like more than about 1100-1200ma. I blew 2 red P4's on an MR board that a red LUX III runs fine on. Optimally you want to give them 1000ma.

They are the same. They can also take overdriving very well.
I have a P4 red and US 2.0 running on the K2 setting 2x Ultrafire 14500 powered
I have a P4 Blue and US 2.0 running on the Lux III overdrive setting. 4 AA NIMH powered
No problems yet.

Sounds good thanks guys, just ordered a red and a green. The red is going in US2.0 saber so i wanted to make sure I choose the right setting. The green is gonna be direct drive w/ a seperate circuit for a hasbro/ultimate kit board so I was less worried about that one.
much appreciated
So are the p4 reds better than a lux III or a Red-O

Red to Red its hard to tell the difference, but the LUX Red-O still trumps.
