MR Maul problem

I'm having a problem with my double "Battle damaged" MR Darth Maul saber. Suddenly, and for no apparent reason one of the sabers just doesn't work anymore. No light, no sound, just nothing. It's not a matter of corrosion, since I never left the batteries inside.

So here's my question. Is there any way to either repair or to directly replace the battery pack? If not, I would appreciate any advise on how to get it working again.

I assume you've already tried fresh batteries?

Offhand, I'd say one of the solder joints for your electronics came loose. You won't know for sure until you dismantle the saber. From your description of the problem, I'd say it's either the power wires or the switch wires. Either one of those would kill the functionality of the saber pretty quickly.
