Hey there, quick question for ya. Does the Black Chrome powder coating look more black or "gunmetal" in person. I've seen pictures of it looking a little bit of both. I have a friend who I will be helping build a saber, and he wants a Gunmetal look, but is worried about ordering the Black Chrome and getting, well, something thats more Black. Any input?

H - "Roger that."
M - O_O
Black Chrome... The best way to describe it is it "tints" the hilt, rather than actually color it. It isn't a bold or very dark color, but more of a subtle trans-color which will change the look of the aluminum. A lot like a tinted window.
Hopefully that makes sense. It is also a gloss color, which means it does not look "tactical", like a gunmetal powder-coat would. You might want to look into aluminum black if you want a used gunmetal look.
