Default Advice with my first build

Hello guys. I need to pick your brains. Here's my problem, I've decided to use a rebel star led and a nb sound board but im unsure how to power this set up. Im struggling to find li-ion batteries suitable here in the uk and im also thinking it could be a step to far for a fist build.

Is it possible to use 2 Nimh AA batteries to power my choice of led and sound board. The nb manual recomends 4 but I'm short on space and I would like to use speaker holder with the AA battery holder. Also I cant work out which resistor to use until I resolve this issue. Im running in quick sand at the moment. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers, a frustrated sith noob.

You could go with NiMH if they put out 3.7 V. I had some experience with NiMH on my first build, and they put out around 4.8V, I think? Mind you, that was a 4aaa setup. If you need to find li-ions in the UK, try ebay.

NiMH batteries are 1.2v each. You can use 3 (3.6v) or 4 (4.8v) NiMH with the Nano Biscotte and it will run fine.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.
