    Default soundboard question

hey guys, i was wondering if you'd be able to give me some advice. i've been looking on the boards and i'm sure i'm probably missing the answer so i figured i'll ask! i have a saber without sound from ultrasabers; if i wanted to add sound on a budget, i see a few possible options but need some opinions because this is my first time. would it be best to use the prewired sounboards from tcss's shop, or perhaps use a soundboard from one of the master replica's and set that in place?

I would go with the prewired Nano Biscotte. It's a far better solution than the MR boards. You get a nicer sound quality, blade effects, and you can change the sound font.

do i then just connect its leads to the other components?

More or less, yes. You'll likely need to recalculate your resistor value based off a single li-ion and whatever LED is already in the saber.

Read through the NB manual first, to see what is involved. http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/im...%20v1.0-GB.pdf

Also, http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz is a useful tool for calculating resistor values.
