Thumbs up "From 0.. to R2 in 6 Days!" (An R2D2 Papercraft Project) by Dgdve

    ______

Well as Ive done before I think its time for another "pep" talk

    - Cheer Up!

(Pep talk over) Good talk! (hugs?/hugs!)

NOW... If you're anything like me You'll find your mulitudes of projects always seem reach that point... That frustrated break stuff point... (Hey, dont break stuff thats dumb...) Well thats the time to take a step back... Try something new, different.... & Free.... Yeah FREE! (Enjoy!)

    _____
    _____

Instead of "Pepakura" this is a really cool little papercraft R2d2 project I found online... FULL CREDIT goes out to the modelers... those guys are epic.. I encourage everyone to try this.. Its paper.. its free.. AND.... its Artoooo!... (Awwww what a little cutie).. lets start!

*Project Links: Print the Big 3rd leg version, then you can use the printed directions from small version.. Thats what I did (You'll <3 him)

TOOLS NEEDED: (Patience...duh) Scissors, Glue stick.. Ruler.. Pencil/Pen (to score the lines).. and some time...

Dont rush yourself (as you can see I took 6 easy, lazy, do nothing days).... Take many breaks... Enjoy the process!! Dont fight it... Just like with sabers you must allow and account for it to happen (It will happen) but only in its own time (Never force or rush a project.. it's just not worth it)... Make mistakes.. Its ok, it gives a project some character... Just as in life when you cut corners.. Your only cutting them on yourself.. (As much as You/Me/We all want to be Pro from tuts/reading stuff online) You MUST experience and actually live to learn...

Now without further yada, May I Present for your consideration.....

Very nice. I may have to try my hand at this one day.

Well done, Dave! That is quite a nice little model and looks well engineered. I've got several of the Pepakura templates but haven't gotten around to them yet. I've saved this one to compare the two styles. Thanks for the linnks!

I'ma have to try this out. Maybe when I get my crew together for my Lego Falcon project, we can all make an Artoo as well.
