Thread: Nano Biscotte stopped working...computer won't read SD card

    Static electricity isn't particularly good for SD cards. It's not good for the other components on the board either. Don't wear socks and shuffle your feet on the carpet before handling the electronics.

    Best advice I can give you, is always keep a backup of your SD card data. You never know if/when the card might get corrupted, fried, or just go wonky. In an emergency, you can always run down to your local Walmart, Best Buy, etc and pick up a new blank card.
    We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

    I had it happen too. I keep the sound files back ups on the pc, but the sd card was simply kaput. Couldnt reformat it, card reader wouldn't even recognize it Popped in a fresh card, dropped the files back on it and back in business.

    The new SD card arrived from the shop yesterday and it works great! My saber is up and running again! I backed up the files this time. Thanks every one for the help, insight, and input. May The Force Be With All Of You!
