Impressive. At first I was wondering about the springs, but then I saw your crystal was removable. Very interesting idea.
We all have to start somewhere. The journey is all the more impressive by our humble beginnings.

Nice classic saber. Love the blade color too. Is that CF or PC?

In some of the book series (maybe "Fate of the Jedi" I can't remember for sure) when a Jedi or dark Jedi was disarmed, part of that process was to remove the crystal from their saber. Obviously a captive force user could easily retake their saber, but with no crystal it would be relatively useless. I attempted to make the crystal part of the negative circuit for the battery (making it into a reverse kill key). It didn't work out, for some reason the crystal chamber led would stay on and It made a weird noise. image.jpgimage.jpgthese are pics of those attempts.
