Thread: Batteries

I was wondering if there was anything more that I needed to do to go from 9volt to 12.
If I had one 9v and 2 AAA wired into the inverter, switch, would I need to add any more resistors, or use resistors bigger than the ones in the wiring diagram on the tutorial?
My basic electronics class was more than ten years ago. So I hope I'm not buggin people to much.

If you mean the resistors for the "On/Off" LED then yes it would have to change with the votage.

Adding two AA's to a 9V is a bad idea because the amperages are so different. The 9V will drain so much faster than the AA's and you won't have 12V for long.
