Default Newbie needing serious help with wiring

The wiring is a little confusing. especially for a newb like me. I'm thinking of getting the pre-wired pc with http:/http://www.thecustomsabershop....pack-P768.aspx and http:/http://www.thecustomsabershop....Pack-P699.aspx along with the v-grooved ribbed extension and either the 4" or the 5" fluted double female threaded connector for the middle, also I want to use the T style grips and have them on the inside sticking out on the inside of the fluted double female threaded connector except for the space for the activation box 11 which is for the momentary blue ring activation switch, green dot saber lock sound switch and the recharge port. What I still can't figure out is what part I use to wire the battery to the two switches and the recharge port. I understand that its gonna go through the pc but then what? Another thing is I'll be using the http:/http://www.thecustomsabershop....dule-P654.aspx with a constant current driver but I don't know what mA would look best I want it to be a deep strong guardian blue. Last but not least should i stay with the 18650 long battery pack that i had originally picked out or will i have to use a different one in order for the chassis(s) for the recharge port and the battery along with the pc and (2) 4-40 all thread and (2) aluminum 3/16" OD tube and what speaker and speaker mount should i use in order for it to all fit in?

Thanks to all who responded and May the force be with you all!

I now want to get this one as well. I remember hearing Ryan (Wieber) saying that he wanted to do led sabers so I made this in the MHS BUILER there will be O-ring grips on it.

A picture of the saber you are describing would be helpful too (an MHS builder pic would be fine).

I now think I will be working on an LED version of Ryan Wieber's Saber Shop Novus FX dueling saber. I will still be doing the same stuff but different hilt look. also would I be able to use the http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MP...le-8-P265.aspx with a good speaker, have enough room, and get really good sound?

OK, now that I saw the saber:

    1. I think your pack will be too long. Also the ribbed section inside diameter isn't as big as the regular MHS based saber section.

    2. You don't need a constant current driver because you are using a PC.

    3. I would strongly recommend a different pommel insert, one with vents of some type so the sound can get out of the hilt

    4. Regarding the speaker, it's up to you, as long as the speaker and the mount match. The problem will be I do not think the speakers will fit into the ribbed section. If you were using a regular MHS section... if you use the chassis disks, the "thick" 2W speaker http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/2w...aker-P662.aspx and it's holder were designed to be incorporated into the chassis system with the appropriate "conversion chassis disk" http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Ac...pter-P773.aspx

    5. As far as the color, if you get the Blue P4, the color will be the color - not much you can do about it.

    6. Regarding the switches, are you sure you are going to like the look of the box over the fluted pieces? There could be gaps between the box and the flutes. Would you be OK with that visually?

These are things you should think over. Good Luck.

Alright I've been going back and forth on ideas and all over the place but I've got it figured out I'm gonna do a prototype of Ryan Wieber's Novus dueling saber. I think it was him that said that he wanted to try led lightsabers. I think its him cuz I don't know of anybody else who does Carbon Fiber dueling sabers. Keep in mind its just a prototype but I'll be using a petite crouton 2.0 sound board, battery pack, recharge port, chassis for the recharge port, and for the battery pack and PC, also a good speaker and speaker mount. And it all needs to fit nicely.

This will be the prototype Novus LED lightsaber in my style as I want the saber lock option. Oh yeah, something else I've been meaning to ask is if I use a momentary switch for the regular blade activation would I have to hold it down? Cuz if thats the case then I'll just go with a latching blue ring. And does anybody know where I can download a saber lock sound for pc?

If you are using a PC, you can use a momentary switch for the regular blade activation as long as you configure the PC properly - see the manual. All of the fonts for the PC include a "lockup" sound. You do need a second momentary switch to use this sound - again read the manual.
