i have some questions before building my first hilt

So I am ecstatic to see that the prices for the mhs saber parts are fairly inexpensive. Im only interested in building a hilt without the blade for more of a costume prop/display. With that being the case, is it necessary to get the heat sink parts or are those only necessary when adding electronics?

If your only doing a hilt, then no. If you're going to add the LED and electronics, then yes. The blade emitter will help hold your LED in place if you do add one.

Thanks! i know it only saves me like $8 but thats more that can be put into parts that matter.
