    i have a question about the Luxeon 3w driver. what is the difference between the latching and momentary?

    Absolutly nothing. The only reason they come in two forms is because it makes them easier to put with sound boards.

    Hi there
    The only difference between the two is the way the on/off switch works. The drivers themselves operate identically. The momentary one looks for the leads going to the on/off switch to close for a moment, then open back up. The latching one requires that the leads stay closes for as long as you want the saber turned on. I hope this helps.

    so i know this is an old thread but from what im reading that their is also a differnce if you intend to hook one up to an MR sound board? is that correct?

    Yes, the difference is it won't work unless you use two seperate switches or some other crazy wiring solution.

    You need the latching one to make it relatively simple.
