14500side by side chassis discs dont fit

i ordered some 14500 side by side+pc holder chassis discs, and they will nto fit, i have sanded them, is there a trick to this? i am putting it on from the right side, but its just way to tight on the left side. IDK if its getting caught on the yellow box near the battery pads or what, any ideas? anyone else have this problem?

I have tried 3 different boards, and idk maybe the discs, i tried sanded one, but not much to work with before they break.

I tried them and they worked okay for me, but when refitting for spacers I broke one. They are fragile, and it is tricky fitting the battery and board in them.
