    Cool. There are other ways to get that effect without EL

    I know, But I think the EL at least makes the rings light up consistently.

    I'm posting this here since DoClo built the KB alongside this one...



    This has a Makototsai V2 soundboard and blade with a rechargeable Lithium ion battery. There's a jeweled kill pin/ recharge port in the pommel and a blue crystal below the blade holder which is visible in the milled slots underneath the carbon fiber overlay. And, like the KB, features EL wire glowing rings in the ribs.






    Custom laser cut clamp box plate with Aurabesh lettering and Jedi emblem which is backlit.



    It could possibly be the last saber he builds. But he amazed me by getting the designs of the KB and this saber so close to the concepts.
