Thread: Petit Crouton Aux Button

    Question Petit Crouton Aux Button

This may be a dumb question, but I can't find anything online or in the manual.

I have a PC 2.0 in a temp build (meaning crappy aux switch, sticking out the side). I noticed when the saber is awake but off, if I hold the aux button for about two seconds, it beeps. If I immediately release it, it beeps again lower. Any idea what this feature is? I'm at a loss...

It is activating the Mute-on-the-Go feature. After it beeps, press the activation button and the saber will power on with no sound. Press the activation again to turn it off, and the sound reactivates. This is covered in the manual. If you press the aux button again after the first beep, it deactivates the mute-on-the-Go feature by rebooting the board. Mute-on-the-Go is in the manual on page 26.

Ah, okay. I love that feature, but I've always just held the aux button then hit the ignition button immediately. Never tried holding the aux button till it beeps, then hitting the ignition separately... The manual is a little vague on the specifics. Good to know I can use either way!

Thanks again, Jay! As always, you are a fountain of knowledge!
