thanks rouge and Zekk for your comments and i am proud of this saber mainly because i had a nightmare of a time building it! as to etching brass i would imagine that it will work but would depend on the conductivity of the brass...that being said i think the effect would be very very nice and i just might do a test on this in the near future.The etching was easy to do as said before in this thread and i must give credit to other more experienced sabersmiths for their tutorials and knowledge on this subject.i wouldn't have tried this at all if it wasn't for the fact that i already had a car charger to play with! fortune I guess
