Default Almost done with my first saber! Two quick questions.

Alright two quick questions. First, I saw in the PC manual that there is a deep sleep mode. Does it go into this on it's own, or can you put it in sleep mode?
Second, does running more current to the LED make it brighter? My P4 Blue came today, hooked it up, and so far have it running at 1300. It's already nice and bright with that current, but just curious.

current = brightness only to a point. Each LED is different, and you risk either blowing or shortening the lifespan of an LED if you feed it too much current. LEDEngin's are great for overdriving as they love current....all others...at your own risk....

    1) Yes, the board has a deep-sleep mode and it enters it all by itself. You don't have to change any configurations in order to activate the deep-sleep mode.

2)I've seen people run the p4 blues up to 1.5Amps. Some have said they can't really tell a difference, though. If I were you, I would stick to the 1300mA.

Thank you, kind folks! I'll stick to the 1300mA then.
