is there a way to get a better response on the motion sounds on the ani, theres about a quarter second lag after i move the saber before the sounds play

Off the top of my head...
1. Have you converted it?
2. If so - was the motion sensor glued down when you finished? (that might help).
3. apparently the motion sensors function better, the further toward the pommel end you can secure them.

The Ani's ROTS sensors are on the board... so nope. You can't move them like say the Luke ROTJ. On one where you can move it the further away from the center of gravity the better.
There will always be a bit of "lag" just based on the way it works. It senses then plays the sound. It doesn't play it concurrently (while you move). Try spinning in a circle while holding the saber in front of you. It won't make the sound until you stop spinning.

I was wondering about that... my Vader is the same way. I just thought mine was slightly defective. Thanks for the info!

Interesting...
I only have the Mace Windu - it's not bad.
The Sensor is glued down near the center of the handle.

Thanks for the information X-Wing and since I only own one MR last years Annikan, I just tried it and they must have solved this problem because I can here the sound change while spinning.[]

It depends on how you spin... the motion sensors on the board are simple balls in a tube that move back and forth. There is an up and down and a left and right sensor.
A spin parallel to your body will have the sound always go off when it reaches the top. You naturally slow there and the sensor drops because the centripital force isn't holding it there.

hey x, is there a secondary i can add on to the saber and then dissengage the stock in order to give it quicker response?
The problem is on the Ani that are specific to direction they are mounted. If you want to do some extereme things you could make it work...
My idea would be to snip them off the board then remount them on a seperate PCB board. You could then run the wires back to the original spots on the board. You then have the freedom to move the sensors where you want.
