Thread: Clone Trooper Costume

  1. #1

    Default Clone Trooper Costume

Ok I got my armor to make Commander Deviss

The Armor is extremely rough, but since I got it from a fellow garrison member and is was cheap I am not complaining at all it will turn out great

I will post progress pictures as I go

I'm Dyin' to make a clone trooper as opposed to a TK! I'm in the 501st and I'm working on a TR now. Any chance you could pm me the source for the kit? Much appreciated!

Would rough refer to the edges or is there something else I can't see from the pics? The edges seem wavy...

It is nice to see a clone trooper. There is a lot more in the paint for that costume than a "clean" TK.

Wow, that looks like a lot of work to trim, fit and sand all those pieces, before painting them.[:0]

It ought to be cool, once it's finished though. []

I started cutting the pieces down today and yes it is ALOT of work, cutting and sanding and trimming and sanding again but nothing worth having is easy [] and if it turns out the way I think it will it will be very worth having.

    Hey Bud,
what did it end up costing you, if you don't mind me asking?
I was thinking about a trooper costume of some sorts down the road, I have seven other vaders in my Garrison, so having a trooper outfit I thought, would be a good idea.

    BTW: VERY SWEET!

It should turn out great man. Can't wait to see it. You should post pics of the other guys with the same kit to give these guys a little preview.

Dude that is awesome! Keep up with the progress pics. Heck make it a how to tutorial for the boards. I am sure we would all enjoy it.

Once I get the Pieces cut out I plan on taking another shot of all the armor laid out then I will start posting pics of it going together. Cutting it out is a little harder than I expected as there is no guide as to where to cut but I am making small cuts test fitting then cutting off more as needed.

This is the BFG I ordered for my clone armor

This is over 50 inches when complete.
