Removable Blade Help

Hi all, I'm new here and have a question. If I'm posting this in the wrong area then feel free to move it.

I recently purchased an Obi-Wan Force FX Removable Blade Lightsaber. During some initial testing (swinging blade around) it came into very hard contact with a wall. Since that one section of the lights of the blade doesn't work unless flexed a little bit. Basically my question is, how do I take the plastic cover off the blade so I can check to see the actual damage? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't seen a definitive tutorial on the blade itself, because most people here just convert them entirely to single Luxeon LEDS with a polycarbonate blade. From what I understand, there are some tiny pins in the bottom of the blade that either need to be pulled out or pushed in. You will need a hammer and whatever you can find (maybe a nail) that fits the holes, and pliers.
