    Question What should I set the LED driver to on my PC 2.0 when using a Royal Blue Luxeon?

    Hey guys so I saw on the Rebel Star LED page that all other colors besides Amber and Red should be run at 1000mA so does this mean that I set the driver on the board to 1000? It is currently at 2000, the maximum rating, is this bad? Should I set it to 1000 in the SD card file or can I leave it at 2000? Thanks!

    Yes, set it at 1000, which is the rated maximum. You probably could overdrive it a little further (not sure), but 2000 is double the max rating and will likely fry your LED.

    Usually rebels don't like being overdriven that much. 1000 is fine. Why not start at 1,000 and back it down and see what looks best? Different currents sometimes alter the color.
