You will want to choose a pommel insert, and an MPS clip to hold the pommel insert in place. Additionally, you will want to swap the momentary guarded switch for a latching guarded switch. Everything else looks to be in order for a first time saber.

Why a latching switch? and the pommel is pointed so no insert or clip is nessecary.

Ahh, ignore my bit about the pommel. It's a new part, and I forget that there's one that doesn't require the inserts.

A latching switch is necessary to keep the blade lit. Momentary switches only complete the circuit while they are actively being pressed. With the momentary switch, your blade would turn off as soon as you let go of the button.

In a saber that has sound, certain sound boards will use latching, momentary, or a choice of either in order to activate the saber. I didn't see any speakers or a Petit Crouton sound board listed in your order, so I assumed you were going soundless for this saber.
