Which Graflex replica hilt for Makoto V4 Plus conversion?

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and wanted to get your opinion. I want to have an authentic looking Luke ANH saber with the newest Makoto (V4 Plus) blade. I thought I'd either use a Hasbro Force FX Luke saber (http://tinyurl.com/d8cv56r) or a Graflex replica hilt from JQ Sabers (http://www.jqsabers.com/graflex-mpp/) as a starting point. Makoto told me that both are ok for his conversion. I also found very nice Graflex replicas at http://graflexsabers.com (I think this site belongs to Parks Sabers?), though they say they're not designed for modiication.

What do you think would be the best hilt for this purpose?

All of the replica Graflex sabers out there right now come from the same manufacturer in China. Parks buys his supply from them. They are the same as the others. All can be modified with the right parts.

That's good to know, thanks for the info! I am now proud owner of a beautiful chrome plated Anakin hilt by JQ sabers, and it's on its way to Taiwan for Makoto's blade and electronics to be installed.
