    I have no experience with these, so take this with a grain of salt. But if it were me I would hack the 3/4 bubble off the end to test out the material. If you don't like the finish on the cut, try a hack saw. You've got 2 practice cuts you can make before you are down to your goal of 4 bubbles.

    I wouldn't use a dremel because you will melt the plastic....I would use a hacksaw and cut 1/2 bubble away then sand the rest so that you don't muck up the bubble strip
