Thread: MR FX sound module

    Default MR FX sound module

Is their any way to run the MR FX module(6v) off the EL electronics(9v), maybe using resistor? On a limb here, no space left in the hilt I designed.

Voltage Regulator. Or if you are using 6AA you can pull 6V from it by putting the wires in the correct spot.

Would a battery charger work on a 9v rechargable battery with the voltage regulator feeding 6v mr sound?

Would a 12v battery charger work if I use the 8aaa battery holder and tap off one side ,(6v) to the mr sound module and use the 12v leads originaly on the battery holder to the EL inverter?

Yes, the chrger would take care of your battery, the regulator would only really come in to play when the saber was on which I am guessing you would not want to do when it is charging.

Second question edit- Heck yes that works like a champ every time[8D]
