Update time!! So at one point I was having a little trouble with my build. As you can see, the CF fits very snuggly inside my chassis system.

The only problem was this here.

That component there on the side goes past the side of the bridge on the soundboard. Therefore it was just barely not fitting inside the inner diameter of my main body piece. Luckily I was able to resolve the matter. After a little time with the dremmel, a small section of the inner diameter of the main body piece has been milled a bit allowing the CF to fit inside.

It's been milled enough that the speaker mount can still fit properly and so the pommel can screw on all of the way. The CF was sitting very securely inside. I may not even need the bridges on top of it. Gotta give a shoutout to my father who helped me with this. He's a really handyman and FAR more experienced in the shop than I am. (I'm still learning but I'm getting there! * )

However, like any great challenge, one problem tends to lead you to another. * For some reason my PCB is no longer working. I put the multimeter to it and wasn't getting any readings. Here's what happened:

I had the two 18500 Li-Ions wired to it and secured within the chassis system. I made a small modification to my chassis which required me to cut a lead I created between one of the batteries and the PCB. Afterwards, I re-soldered the connection and that's when my problems started. I even plugged the pack quickly into the charger in case the PCB had de-activated but still nothing. I put the multimeter to the battery pack and it's ok thank goodness but it seems I somehow fried my PCB. Luckily I've got a new one on the way and it should be here in a couple of days. I'll keep you guys posted when things continue!

What light through yonder Saber breaks??? She is completed!

It's more beautiful than I ever imagined it. There will be a seperate thread with video and glam shots coming soon but first I need to tweak the sensitivity settings and get everything on the SD card perfect.

Fantastic looking saber. I'm jealous of your CF, by the way... But that was probably obvious. I'm pretty sure my drool somehow made it through the internets.
