MHS Starkiller "Promo" saber BL

Hi!
I have not done a Build Log in a very long time. I just purchased a bunch of cool parts (all MHS) to do a build. Since I'm doing this one in small amounts I figure why not take some pics and splain what I'm doing
So here goes

First off...parts left to right. Activation box 8 (cut in half, an even 1"on either side), Blade Holder style 2 (no mods), Choke Style 2 (no mods), 7" DF connector(no mods), Pommel Style 1.

Here's what it looks like assembled


Now the "shroud"



This one ended up a bit too curvy for my taste
So I went back and re-cut one with a straighter top







Wich I ended up satisfied ennough to attach it to the BH
Here's a pic of the Activation box cut in half and mounted on the body.

For now thats what I got Doing this one kinda slow (inbetween other projects) but I'll keep this log going til I get it done.

I'm quite excited to see how this one will turn out. I always preferred the sabers from the trailer to the ones that ended up in the final game...

Oooo this is looking so awesome so far... (Have I said how amazing it is that with some thought.. you can nearly build ANY saber from straight MHS...) I love it and will be watching this one!!

Thanks everyone the encouragment.
My thoughts are that(^) YES, any thing can be done with MHS pieces. I have to say (MO) there is an endless supply of designs in the MHS builder
As for sound, well all the parts came from here, so my first thought is the sound should too But, I'm keeping my options open in case the budget does not allow atm.

Very nice start! I've always liked that trailer saber too. Nice, clean work on that shroud as well.
