Default question on 10w ledengin single 4 die blue color?

if i'm gonna use a 10w ledengin, solid blue color for all 4 die, i'm gonna forgo the FOC option with the pex, will i still get the flicker of the blade illusion? in case your wondering, i'm using the solid blue to get a much brighter blade. also, instead of bridging the 2 die pads seperately for the foc option, and being im not doing that, can i bridge all 4 pads together? 4 for positive, 4 for negative. or do i have to do 2 and 2?

You're going to want to do 2 and 2 in a series-parallel setup. Connect 2 pads in series, then connect the other 2 pads in series, then run both sets parallel and connect to the soundboard. This will keep voltage and current requirements down to a manageable level.

Well, it's not particularly advanced wiring...but if you've never soldered a LEDEngin before, they can be a royal pain.

To no degree is this ever understated. I had never soldered an LedEngin before myself, and even with all of the tips I read here, it was still a real pain. Only really had 1 problem pad that took several attempts, but this was definitely not my cleanest work.
