    Default Another New Guy

    Hi all,
I’ve been bopping around the forums for the last few months trying to soak in some of the knowledge. I think I’m about ready to start in on my first build and just wanted to say thanks to all the forum members that have contributed to the information I’ve managed to gather. I’ve just put in my 1st order for parts and am looking forward to getting started when they arrive. Hopefully, I won’t have to bother you with to many stupid questions as I move forward.

Welcome aboard... I think I heard some where once that the only stupid question is the one that goes unasked.... Hopefully you've seen a question or two that have been asked in different ways..

Hail and well met! Keep reading, ask when that doesn't work, and enjoy your build! Do you have a render or drawing of your saber? You might want to start a build log in the A to Z Build section too.

I wanted to start with something simple and straight forward. Something that would be comfortable in any grip and easy to spin.
I know I am going with a 4.8v set up for a blue p4 with a recharge port. I haven't decided if I want to try and stick a cheapy hasbro board in it or not just yet. Part of me is thinking I should just keep it simple, the other half wants sound. So I guess we'll see how confident I'm feeling when I have all the parts laid out in front of me.
