Sithstalker
This was an empty hilt made by JK-Sabers. I have had it for at least two years and finally decided to just do it. I made/modified a custom switch plate for it. It is similar to the TCSS version, but this one houses the AV switch, the Aux switch and the recharge port. It is also held to the hilt by two 4-40 screws, so it is solid. I machined a nice speaker mount/resonance chamber/Crystal Pommel module out of PVC. It is a perfect fit, houses everything that needs to be associated with the pommel and is easy to slide out and access the SD card. I started with a Tri-rebel RRB, but had to scrap it since I over-drove it accidentally while testing and partially killed the red rebels. I can still use it for a purple later so not a complete loss. I used one of my 9W (Tri-3W) RGB's. Red for the blade and blue for the FoC (nice purple FoC). It is similar in brightness to a CREE, but it is only driven at 1A so it can rival a P4 if I overdrive it. I really like these LEDs because they are single dome tri-color and are bright enough to use as single color as needed. I went a little different with the grip. I did a Diamond-style wrap all the way down as opposed to the partial wrap on this saber in the pictures. I like it better this way and love my faux gator skin for the wrap. I also know that it has 4 claws as opposed to the three on the actual prop, but I don't care...I like this model very much, lol. Finally, I topped her off with my favorite Sithly fonts (TFU Ultimate Sith Edition by Nightstorm anyone?) and away we go! Yeah, she's HUGE and yeah...she's loud, but not a s loud as Caine's new Stormtrooper saber
I normally don't post Customs here unless they are MHS-based, but this has a nice switch plate MOD (yes, you can do this with the box from the store) so I included a picture of it for your edification
