Default MHS plus acerocket pommel TPM Obi WIP

Ok so one of my favorite hilts of all time is Obi Wans from TPM and AOTC, I know they have little differences but I love it. Well I am not able to get into any runs and I was not able to get on the Obi run... So I decided to make MHS version and obviously I needed a acerocket pommel... So I went to FX and found one from a very awesome member, but I havent seen her on in forever anyway here is my work in progress. Its not much but here are the pics.

I started with the acerocket. I had this for months before even buying any other parts lol

here almost all the parts except the shroud piece near the pommel that will give me my grip section, I got a plan for that, that I learned from Jay Gon

Here is what I got so far with the parts assembled. its starting to look like it to me.

more to come as soon as there is an update.

Good start. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

I made an MHS based Obi-Wan a couple of years ago. Here's the build thread. You might find it useful.

At the time, TCSS didn't sell the MHS sleeve material, so I had to source it elsewhere and have the MHS parts turned down. You don't have to do that now.

How are you attaching the top ring?

Ignore the above how sturdy is epoxy?

Could you not have someone mill down the thicker bit of a BH 18 to match the top bit.

lol defiantly looks like you've made making the blade holder a piece of cake.

Out of curiosity, are you planning on cutting the double female, and sticking another tube inside?
