Why is it that the AV switches arent MHS compatible when they have the bezel? or are they?

The short switches won't work with the bezels. The long switches will. You need the longer shaft to make them fit properly

Depends on the short switch...I have used the bezel with the illuminated ones, but the chrome plated and gold colored non-lit ones are too short.
