Thread: type of av hole

  1. #1

    Default type of av hole

i want to use a 16mm Anti Vandal Momentary Nickel Plated Switch for my hilt but do i need a recessed av hole or can i just use a regular av hole?

you would need a hole for the av switch
either drill it yourself or have Tim do it
also depends on how long the switch is whether you would need the bezel or are you using one of the switch boxes

You need a recessed switch hole.

    Nickel plated momentary anti-vandal switch

Will work with box's 2-6 and the recessed AV switch hole service. These will NOT work with the AVbezel as the shaft is not long enough to fit the nut on.

You can get away without a recessed hole, but the side edges of your switch will be raised about 1/32".
That is 1/16" but that is because it is in crooked. First saber, and done in a hurry. Lesson; TAKE YOUR TIME!
The boxes are another good choice.
