I'm still making slow progress on the saber staff. I have all the metal parts cut and ready for final filing and sanding. Then I start painting and baking. I'm going to use a palette of dark greys and blacks. The inner-most layer will be rubber coated to protect against shorts. My goal with this one is to be able to access wiring laterally. So far, it is working, but I will have to run wires through the tube parallel to the batteries and speaker. Most of the soldering will be accessible by removing the back panel. Or not. We'll see how it works out.
