Thread: My First MHS Saber Build

Default My First MHS Saber Build

Over the years I have had most of the MR FX sabers and some of the newer Hasbro FX sabers. Some were Luxeon converted. I even built a full chassis Graflex with US board. Sadly, all of these have been sold off. I decided I needed a new saber. After weighing my options I decided to build an MHS saber. Not shown is the new Bass speaker and the 10w RGBA LEDengin LED. It will eventually have a PC inside. As soon as the funds are available!

    Enjoy the pics!

Nice. I like your idea of putting the choke at the pommel end.

Is the choke at the pommel end?

Thanks, but the choke is under the emitter. I think what you are seeing is the hole in the pommel insert. The emitter is in the second picture.

I like the design. Kinda looks like a fin-less missile.. a thin-necked one, but you get my point. I'm glad the pommel isn't as huge irl as the MHS builder makes it look.

Thanks, I like it too. It came out better than I thought. Yeah the pommel isn't that big but it is bigger than the hilt, and that's the way I had hopped. Here are a few more pictures. The metal polish realy makes the aluminum shine like chome. The grooves in the pommel will be black as well as the two grooves around the emitter when it's done.

I like! It even reminds me of my design.
