I've been lurking/reading/planning for quite a while now and figured I'd pop in and introduce myself. I grew up with the original trilogy (well, more ESB and ROTJ) and had lots of toys/objects that filled the role of a lightsaber. A few years ago my wife and I got a pair of MR sabers, which really blew me away at the time. I'm putting some final tweaks on our Jedi costumes, though I'm sure they'll never be "done", and found myself wanting a hilt that I could wear without a blade. As I'm sure everyone here is familiar with, that was the first step into a much greater world. Now I'm finishing up my planning for a few sabers for myself and my wife that be a combination of TCSS components with some custom aluminum pieces.
