    Default Jin Ke's "Morrison"

It's been awhile since I've posted a saber, I haven't had the funds for saber building as of late.... This one has been a long time coming. I've had to save up, and grab parts when I could. I'm extremely happy with the way it turned out, and figured it would be a good way to bring in the new year.

    Specs are:
    MHS Based
Custom powder coat job (Done by Tim)
Nickel plated flush mounted av switch
    Obsidian XT (TCSS Premium Speaker)
Rebel Green powered by a single 3.7 LI
28 inch out of the hilt mid grade film style blade.

Diggin' it; Simple and clean. The Hammered Bronze is unsusal and a nice addition. Heappy New Year, Jin!

Nice. I think the emitter looks bare but otherwise it looks slick.

I was contemplating get portions of the emitter powder coated as well, but wasn't sure if it would look to involved... I may paint the middle section a bit, once the "newness" wears off... LOL

How about black or bronze in the 4 depressed rings? It would help tie it in but still reflect the pommel.

Thats along the lines where I was thinking.... Just gotta figure if I want to paint it, or go with O-rings to give it a little bit a depth....

Try the O rings first (they're cheap)...It might be interesting but I'm unsure about the flow with those...

I tried a o-ring for the first rung, but didn't like the way it looked... I brushed on flat black, to give it some texture like the wrinkled portion... I then gave it a few coats of clear flat lacquer. If this doesn't hold well, I'll re-paint it down the road....
