Padawan Ceremony

Well, a while back I ran the idea around here of doing a "Padawan Ceremony" for a young family friend who was battling Lukemia. Well He's WON his battle and will be in full remission after his next scan. He's already gotten to flush the last of his chemo! A bunch of us from the Alderaan Base of the RebelLegion met to present him with his own lightsaber, an '05 Vader that I converted, courtesy of the conversion kit and tutorial found here. We formed a circle in his back yard with jedi, 2 Padmes', 2 of his cousins, and me, the geek in Orange[:I]. He was speechless for the first time in his 6 years of life!
