Newbie Help..

Hi,

I have a question, I have a obi wan board http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b5...e/hasbrobi.jpg & am planning to run a luxeon 1 red with a 4.5v (3 AAA's) set up. Will the LED run straight from the board without a resistor or would I need to add one & if so which one? Thanks

Im not sure about the Luxeon I.... but why not go with this.

alittle research, will help the store has a resistor calculator but I would use a 2.7ohm 2watt resistor, that is what the store calculator says for a red P4 with 4.5watts of power.

or a buckpuck.

If anyone disagrees on anything please correct me thanks.
