When I work I like listening to some 80's stuff: Dire Straits, DURAN DURAN

    You guys have good tastes.

Cardcollector-It's not weird I don't like a lot of country but Flats rules, second only to Big N Rich IMO

Sunrider-I can't listen to the theme song I heard part and now I just feel teased.

Kai-Could you drop some names? Glitch Mob, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, and sometimes Pretty Lights are my essentials (side note I'm bad with sub genres.)

Thejedilestat- St. Anger sounds awesome, so does Battery. Also I like your banner.

amwolf- I love blues I'm trying to learn to play my harmonica.

I didn't want to get specific since I'm passionate about music and very picky but..

I was a Metallica fan starting with the release of Ride the lightning. Nothing beats the old stuff. I lost interest in their stuff after the self titled album.
Never cared for Dire Straits and can't stand "Money for nothing" for obvious reasons even though I know the song is supposed to be taken in context.

Used to be a huge punk fan. Still like some Blackflag or DRI now and then.

Huge Portishead fan, Peaches, Amy Whinehouse.

Duran Duran was my favourite at one point. Still like'm.

Hip Hop: Sage Francis, Slug....most stuff on Anticon or Defjux lables.

    Love Zepplin and Hendrix bigtime!

I have a wide variety of tastes, but like I said very picky.

Depends on what work I'm doing. For most general work in the shop, I always have an Yngwie Malmsteen CD of some sort on. If I'm in a dark mood, or building a wicked sith saber, I gotta have some King Diamond on. For electronics, I have some Joe Satriani to put me in the zone. Throw in some Bach and flamenco interspersed in there and that's what keeps me from going too crazy.

Crystal Chambers I love Led Zepplin and I have Are you Experienced playing right now.

I feel like throwing out some bands and seeing if anyone else likes them.

I just got some Richard Cheese, and The Puppini Sisters.

I caught myself last night going to bed to Stan Bush and DVDA

I saw Billy Sheehan on That Metal Show a week or two ago and he blew my mind.

I'm a big Phishead, and like Moe., Umphrey's McGee, STS9, The Rolling Stones, Apocalyptica, Bond, Jem, Brian Setzer, The Killers, Third Eye Blind, and James Horner, STP, Audioslave, the John Mayer Trio, Muse. Santana, The Who, Hans Zimmer, and I like what David Newman did for the Serenity score.

    Game/Movie scores.

Star Wars, Jurassic Park (noticing the John Williams here?), KOTOR 1 and 2, Inception. Hopefully once it arrives the TOR soundtrack too.
So yeah, mainly classical music for me when working on projects.
