Default "Darth Nihl's Saber is Complete!"

Hello everyone, I finally finished my rendition of Darth Nihl's saber. I was going for a bio-organic/mechanical feel with this piece. I also installed the activation switch off center; in my mind a narly looking hilt like this would not have a centered anything. The total length of this beast is 61.5" (5'-1.5"). The blade is 27.5" and the hilt is about 34". This saber features: All custom PVC hilt,
    1"thick walled trans white blade,
Lux III red orange led with resistor,
    5 degree lens,
    Obi Wan econo board,
    orange ring illuminated switch,
    a single 14500, 3.7V Li-ion
    TCSS premium speaker,
    and recharge port.
This thing is as tall as my 10 year old daughter.

Cool! Looks like it's made out of mummy parts. I see how the contest saber led up to this. Is that bike tire tube? lol Nice!

Thanks, everyone. Karen, it does look like an inner tube, no it's 2" heat shrink. I just cut it up in sections to get a layered effect.

I'd fill that thing with D batteries so you never have to change or charge them again! lol
