I understand where xwing is coming from but a graflex style blade holder would rock big time. The way I was thinking of it the first time it was brought up would be to have the s-shroud actually be the part beyond the standard blade holder length so the the "bottom" of the s would be the end of the blade holder and the rest would just be more deco then anything. That way it could be optional to have ears or not. I did a few PVC saber like this one time because I always thought that it had a cool look but the ears would get in the way for a high hold grip.

Not to poop in your punchbowl, but you're basically referring to an aluminum tube. Why not buy 1.5" OD 0.035" wall thickness aluminum tubing from onlinemetals.com or something for like 5 bucks a foot?
I mean, I am all for ditching brass sink tubes altogether, but it kind of depends on what Tim can get a hold of, the price to him, and the price to us based on his cost plus overhead. Tim's not one for gouging us on costs, so it all comes down to supply versus demand.

deffinatley an obi TOTS pommel.
Maybe also a crystal chamber section. I'm not sure how the chamber could be designed, but i had an idea for the crystals. They could be made out of acrylic and come in all different colors. They could also be shaped like the crystal on the TCSS logo

With the popularity of the sabers, perhaps it's time for a new emitter that looks similar to the emitter on the clan sabers carried by Kit Fisto and others? Similar in looks to the Darth Maul emitter?
Whats nice about these emitters is that they could also be used as pommels as well. I'd also like to see a longer ribbed section and perhaps some graflex clamps

I don't know if you have a pipe bender available Tim, but it would be awesome if customers could let you know what degree to bend their main hilt section (for a fee of course...those machines aren't cheap). Even a slight bend would drastically change the look of a custom saber.
The Obi emitter and pommel from his EP I saber in MHS form would simply cause me to die.
