Can the parts for this kit be bought separately. I want to make a variation of this saber. Or do I have to buy the whole kit and not use some of the parts?

The parts in the kit are made to build that saber, and only that saber, so they are incompatible with the other parts in the store. To use them to build something else, you'll have to modify parts to fit.

Yes, but you have to cut them yourself, or send a design to Tim in an email and ask for a custom work quote to have it machined:

These you'd be better off cutting yourself.

Another option I've done before is to have Tim machine the plain MHS extension pieces to have cutouts or windows in them, and insert a 1 1/4" sink drain or aluminum tube to add to the layered effect.
