just a thought
I was going through the conversion for Vader MR FX and noticed that they have a separate board for the blade sensor... I am assuming that this controles the activation for the battle crash sound?!?! well why not see if there is a way to utillize this to make a set of hyper white led's flash when this is tripped? Like I said just a thought. I copied a picture from the forum to show what I am talking about... the board with the blue and grey wire.
Those kind of things have to be programmed to be appreciably seen. Otherwise it's hardly a flicker. A whole seperate LED or multiple ones is a lot to go too. Overdriving the LED like Corbin's board does is probably better.

P.S. Had the bike out today but you still have yet to get back to me about getting together some weekend for coffee or something.... wouldn't mind seeing some of those sabers you got and getting some tech from somebody local who can help and keep me from destroying my MR saber while trying to convert it.

Corbin's board could fit... I was mostly just saying that A board (not neccessarily Corbin's) would be needed to make that idea work. The momentary nature of the shock sensor isn't going to make it more than a flicker. Extra LED's would really be that great either. The colors would blend and it would interfere with the optics...

Its a very tight fit and a pain to add corbins board to a mr conversion but yes it can be done.

i know this is off topic but i don't want to start a whole new thread for this question.
i am converting my anakin tomorrow and i am wondering what all i can use to shrink the heatshrink tubing. i don't have a heat gun []

Would a hair dryer work? Im going to try that with my conversion.
lighter works..just dont catch it on fire
