    Default Cardcollector Presents "The Mentor-ship saber"

    Hey Saberland!

    It is time again to present another newly completed saber. This saber was built for a young kid who is a huge SW fan. Here's the thing though, he helped build it. There was a starting budget for the guy just enough for a PVC saber. I wanted him to have something a little better than that, so I gave him a "credit" towards a metal hilt. He designed the hilt based off of given parameters, and did 90% of the polishing himself. I did the electronics for him, and we now have the following saber to show you guys.

    The Mentor-ship Saber
    Specs;
    Polished MHS hilt
    2006 Hasbro Force action board w/ PNP transistor
    Rebel Green LED running at 1100 ma.
    3.6V In-hilt recharge setup
    TCSS MOM switch threaded into hilt
    TCSS premium Speaker w/ 2" of Resonance
    Calvary Custom Sabers 33" Standard blade

    Glams;

    Video will be up in a few days...

    That was so nice of you. Tell him he did a great job on the design and polishing because it looks great.

    Heh, In more ways than one.

    Thanks folks. Means a lot. Hopefully this will inspire you to find your own padawan and train him in the art of saber building. It is a very rewarding process.

    Nothing like the warm fuzzy when you know you helped a kid out and he appreciated it!! Good job!
