Thread: Luke ROTJ

I've just bought myself a LED converted Luke saber, i'm a little worried as i've found its still using the 6 battery pack, when all i read is sabers on 4 battries, can the LED handle this power?

Also can anyone advise me on how many i could use running this saber, as i'd like to add Corbin's driver to it once i've reduced the power pack size.

    Thanks

It's 6AA but only 4.5V. The problem would be that you'd have to make a whole new battery solution to gain space and meet Corbin's requirements.

how could you convert a luke rotj without a conversion kit? can you just buy a heatsink, led, lens & holder and make it work?

Now that Tim offers a custom heatsink, yup! It's still not as nice as a metal holder, but it's entirely possible.

Yes! Perfect time since I just messed up my Luke blade!

Just wondering tho wher would the screw be for the blade? I allready had to drill and tap one in the neck because of a woblly blade.
